Cameroon pepper is a variety of Capsicum chinense that is widely used in Nigeria to cook due to its exceptional heat and unique flavor. it is also called Nsukka pepper and Ghana pepper in West Africa and yellow lantern chili in English-speaking markets. Cameroon pepper is yellow in colour when fresh but turns brown when dried.
